Determined to improve safety standards, Dan created FSSG to provide valuable resources and training to flatbed professionals.

In 2024, Dan Shipley partnered with Daniel Kinsman to expand FSSG's mission. Together, they developed comprehensive educational materials and collaborated with Learning Without Scars to make flatbed safety and securement training more accessible. This partnership enabled FSSG to reach a broader audience, equipping industry professionals with tools to enhance securement practices, reduce accidents, and ensure regulatory compliance.
